Brian P. Platt
Brian P. Platt is an associate attorney with Abom & Kutulakis, L.L.P.. Brian focuses primarily on criminal defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked at the Dauphin County Public Defender’s Office as a Senior Deputy Public Defender where he represented individuals charged with homicide, sex crimes, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, drug delivery, DUI, and others. Brian is certified to handle death penalty cases. He was also appointed by the Public Defender’s Office to represent all clients eligible for the Dauphin County Veterans’ Court Program, which provides a support system to veterans seeking to aggressively address their treatment needs while resolving their criminal charges. Further, he successfully completed a rigorous trial skills program at the National Criminal Defense College at Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia.
Brian is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He then earned his Juris Doctor at The Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While in law school, Brian earned a position as certified legal intern for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender in Cape May County, New Jersey. Brian was selected to the law school’s Trial Advocacy Honor Society.
Brian’s experience leaves him well prepared to defend the legal rights of people who are under investigation or are accused of a crime.
