Stephanie L. Cesare focuses her practice on criminal law in the state and federal criminal courts. She is a death penalty-certified criminal defense attorney and has represented individuals in Grand Jury investigations. Stephanie also advises in family law and children and youth services matters.

Stephanie is a United States Criminal Justice Act Panel Attorney, representing indigent federal criminal defendants before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a former Senior Assistant Public Defender with Cumberland County, handling that office’s Adult Drug Treatment Court cases. Stephanie’s work has been recognized with the yearly designation, since 2018, as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star.

Stephanie is a graduate of The University of Scranton and The Widener University School of Law and she received Widener’s Pro Bono Distinction for pro bono service in the community. Stephanie lives in Harrisburg.
